The Nauticam NA-Ninja V-S housing supports the Atomos Ninja V, V+, 5.2, and Ultra monitor/recorders. It allows for connection over HDMI 2.0 or SDI, providing access to Ninja V controls underwater. This 'S' version includes support for the AtomX SDI Module within the housing, enabling SDI monitoring and recording or facilitating SDI cross-conversion for dual monitor configurations.
The Ninja V and V+ record 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit video to AtomX SSDmini drives in ProRes or Avid formats. The Ninja V+ extends recording to 4K 120p and 8K 30p ProRes RAW with supported cameras. The 1000 nit 10-bit HDR 5.2in screen displays over 10 stops of dynamic range. Built-in tools for waveform, RGB parade, vector scope, and focus peaking aid in exposure and critical focus underwater, even in varied lighting scenarios. External monitor housings like this provide dedicated controls for underwater use.
The NA-Ninja V-S supports up to an NP-F970 battery, providing up to 130 minutes of run time when recording 4K60p footage, reducing to 105 minutes with the SDI module. A pre-installed vacuum valve allows for pressure testing before dives, with an LED indicator showing the housing's watertight integrity.
