The NA-R50 housing for the Canon EOS R50 is designed around the RF-S 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. This housing provides a compact system for Canon APS-C mirrorless cameras. The port is integrated into the housing, requiring no separate port attachment or maintenance.
Constructed from anodised aluminium alloy, the NA-R50 is compact and light. It weighs 1.3kg in air and is slightly negative in water at 0.1kg with the camera, battery, and lens installed. This housing includes the zoom gear for the RF-S 18-45mm lens. Flash triggering uses the Canon EOS R50's pop-up flash, supporting fiber optic connections for TTL compatibility with strobes.
The NA-R50 includes an integrated vacuum check and leak detection system. This system monitors the housing's seal integrity before and during a dive, with visual and audible alarms for water intrusion. The system is temperature compensated to prevent false alarms.
