About this product
The Super Macro Converter 3 is a water contact optic offering up to 2.4x magnification for macro lenses, designed to improve on earlier SMC models. It threads directly onto an M67 port.
This converter holds sharpness and contrast even at high magnification thanks to optical grade glass elements with broadband anti-reflection coatings. The design reduces chromatic aberrations and field deformation common with traditional magnifiers underwater. It is nitrogen purged to prevent fogging inside the optic.
It maintains a working distance of over 50mm even at 2.3x magnification, which is useful for cautious subjects. Autofocus functions acceptably across its ~50mm to ~100mm focusing range. For specific lens and port configurations, consult the compatibility finder.
